LOL, my latest one-woman show, which looks at the subject of internet dating through the eyes of three contrasting characters, premiered to a packed and lovely house as part of The Comedy Project season at the Soho Theatre in 2009.
Since then it has been on tour, including Jermyn Street Theatre, Tabard Theatre, Rosemary Branch, Pleasance Islington and also at the Brighton, Oxford and Henley Festivals. It played at Pleasance Edinburgh for the 2011 Edinburgh Festival.
Everyone knows someone who thinks they know best. In Jubilate! that someone is Anna, vicar's wife and radio personality. She has her own life sorted out - apparently - and now thinks it'd be a good idea to sort out everyone else's......oh dear.
Since its first run at the Edinburgh Festival (as Bruised Blueberries), Jubilate! has toured extensively, including Henley Festival (where I won two Gold Standard awards: one for the production and one for the performance), Southwark Playhouse, Rosemary Branch Theatre and Tabard Theatre. Jubliate! returned to Edinburgh - The Pleasance Below - for the 2012 festival.
I played Laura in Between Friends, a play written by Carolyn Pertwee and me, at the OSO Theatre, Barnes and, last year, in Farnham.
David Irwin wrote: “The play was absolutely brilliant. I was in a spell throughout and so moved. It is so good, I couldn't fault it in script, pace, drama, real life, comedic moments, perfect end with just the right amount of uncertainty and me stunned and in tears, but ok ones! And you and the others did it so utterly tellingly.”

"Ros is a great comic actress with impeccable timing,
but she knows that comedy is founded on truth
and so can switch to pathos in a flash.
Talented, reliable, a great company member."
Joss Bennathan, Artistic Director,
Present Moment Theatre Company
"Ros is an eminently versatile actress
with that rare ability to bring alive comic roles
with a combination of beautifully detailed observation of character
and excellent comic timing."
Liz Webb, Producer, Radio 4 Drama
